Today, more than 500 customers, experts and partners who have journeyed with Hualan through thick and thin gathered at Hualan to witness the company's 31 years of remarkable development.
The visiting delegation was shown Hualan's Smart (Premium) Production Line, which was designed with the "Zero Defects" philosophy. Featuring internationally advanced production processes combined with high automation, digitization, and GMP operational management, this line meets the highest quality standards for various high-end injection packaging products - our "Hualan Star."
Hualan has transformed the segmented production design of the pharmaceutical packaging industry into automated connected production. The smart workshop is designed to build a digital factory with reduced labor (60% reduction), introducing automated operation equipment and utilizing a central control system to manage the entire production process with real-time recording for traceability.
High-end imported equipment has been introduced, operating in two-stage production mode according to smart workshop standards. For same-batch orders, linked production of semi-finished products outperforms segmented production, shortening production cycles by 40%, improving per capita efficiency, and reducing human contamination. The entire production process is controlled according to GMP standards, maximizing product quality and enhancing competitiveness.
The delegation then visited the Pre-fillable Packaging Series Production Line (Project Voyage), which is positioned to produce various high-quality, high-standard pre-fillable packaging products including insulin injection pen gaskets/pistons, pre-fillable syringe pistons and caps, COP/COC, and future new packaging and complex high-end medical device seals. Its mission is to replace imported pre-fillable packaging to the greatest extent, stabilize the supply chain, extend and strengthen the chain, and benefit the nation.
The pre-fillable packaging workshop is a standardized, intelligent, energy-saving, and environmentally friendly production workshop built according to GMP standards, featuring an efficient refrigeration station, primary air compression station, and 98% wastewater recycling treatment. The entire Project Voyage workshop spans 11,000 square meters and includes production of insulin injection pen gaskets/pistons, pre-fillable syringe pistons and caps, and COP/COC products.
In addition, the visitors also toured Hualan's Production Hall, Quality Laboratory, Technical Analysis Room, Water Treatment System, and Mold Workshop. From workshop design to construction, equipment selection, and product validation, Hualan adheres to international best practices.
After the tour, Hualan held the "Innovate with Determination · Forge Ahead with Perseverance" Pharmaceutical Packaging Seminar. Cai Hong, President of the China Pharmaceutical Packaging Association, delivered a speech as a special guest, and the following topics were discussed:
