On March 12, Shengang Subdistrict held the "Why Binjiang? Spring in Shengang" – 2026 Shengang Subdistrict Yangtze River Conservation • Public Tree Planting to Build the "Binjiang Green Corridor" themed event at the landing site of the Yangtze River Crossing Campaign in Binjiang Village. Party and government leaders of Shengang Subdistrict, mid-level officials from government agencies, representatives from the Jiangyin Charity Association, delegates from the Zhixin College of Nanjing Tech University's Jiangyin Campus, relevant representatives from Hualan Co., Ltd., and all staff members of Binjiang Village gathered on this land that carries revolutionary memories and nurtures ecological hopes. Using tree planting as a medium to unite efforts in protecting the river, they harmonized the red legacy with green development along the Yangtze River, jointly composing an ecological chapter to safeguard the mother river and build a beautiful Binjiang.

At the event, the "Green Corridor along the Riverside" initiative was officially launched.
